When your goals aren’t getting closer

It’s time to act differently, because progress isn’t a straight line. Sometimes, the next step isn’t about trying harder — it’s about knowing what’s been missing.

For decades, equestrian training has relied on a combination of feel, experience, and guidance.

While these are essential parts of the sport, they can create gaps: riders forget significant portions of their lessons, coaches lack visibility into solo rides, and horses can only communicate through subtle physical signals that are easy to miss.

Why is it so hard to remember a lesson in detail?

You forget nearly 70% of your trainer’s instructions before you even untack your horse. Why?

Why do real challenges happen when your coach isn’t there?

Your coach sees you for just one hour a week. But what about the other 167 hours that truly define your progress?

Why does your coach repeat the same things over and over?

You fix something during the lesson, but when you ride alone, you can’t repeat it. Why?

When you want progress — why do you practice the easy things?

Riders practice many things instead of focusing on the one thing that could make the difference. Why?

Why does my horse get injured just when it matters most?

Every time you trained hard to get the best out of yourself and your horse, you ended up missing the start. Why?

Why can’t you objectively measure what you feel?

Progress happens in small improvements — but without a coach or judge present, riders can’t objectively confirm them. Why?

Who is EQ Coach-Copilot for?

The Equestic Saddle-Clip is designed for horse riders who are serious about training and improving their horse’s performance. Coaches and equine professionals use it to support horse development, monitor rehabilitation progress, and optimize saddle and tack fitting.

Who is EQ Coach-Copilot for?

  • Equestrian coaches and instructors who want their riders to progress consistently, not only during lessons. They need visibility into what happens between sessions to teach more effectively and build sustainable results.
  • Riders who want to progress faster and seek clarity, objective data, and reassurance that they’re making good progress, however small. They value objective data and precise feedback.

Does the Saddle-Clip measure the speed or distance?

The Equestic Saddle-Clip does not measure distance (in kilometers) or speed. It focuses on analyzing the quality of the horse’s gaits, including rhythm, symmetry, impulsion, and transitions. If you want to track distance or speed, you can use the Saddle-Clip together with a GPS device or app.

How can I get EQ Coach-Copilot and try it as a rider?

Equestic Coach-Copilot is available for download on the App Store and Google Play. The app is open to all riders.
