With a career built on years of international dressage competition, Barrett was British National Champion, long-listed at both World and Olympic level and a team trainer for UK and Spain. Barrett trains riders and horses at all levels up to Grand Prix, and coaches globally – both in person and via remote teaching.
A strong believer in continuous learning, Barrett has incorporated EQ Coach-Copilot into her coaching, in both online and in person lessons, to help riders get more from every lesson.
“Sometimes we cover so much in a session that it’s easy to forget the little details afterwards,” said Barrett. “EQ Coach-Copilot gives the rider a record of what we’ve worked on, so they can go back, reflect on it and think about how they are going to put it into practice.”
For Barrett, the technology is particularly valuable in helping riders take greater ownership of their training.
